In 1991 James "Whitey" Bulger won the Massachusetts lottery. Bulger and three cohorts hit the Mass Millions jackpot for over 14 Million dollars. In today's money that would be about 28 Million. Jim Bulger was under investigation by the IRS and needed to show legitimate income and Whitey soon found a way to go just that.
